Growing naturally from the training and talks presented by Charlotte Kemp through Niche Training, Social Media Solutions was launched in September 2010. Just as our name implies, we provide the solutions that your business needs in terms of social media. Whether it is a complete installation of an entire website, Facebook Business Page, Twitter account, YouTube and any other social media sites and related branding, or just some additional items that may be missing, we are able to assist you.
Charlotte Kemp and Shawn Fouché form the main part of the team of Social Media Solutions, with other team members joining them for specific projects.
We work on full turn key projects or complete missing elements of existing online marketing arrangements. Our projects include the design of, and coaching around, the following:
- CMS (content management systems) websites using WordPress
- Social Media Implementation and Integration
- Facebook Business Pages
- Customized Facebook Images
- Mobile Phone Applications
- Twitter accounts
- LinkedIn profiles, Company Pages and Groups
- Business Blogging using WordPress
- Sales online
- Email Newsletters (bulk)
- Personal Social Media Coaching
We are available to work anywhere really, as it is a connected world and we present many of our coaching sessions via Skype.
We do operate, however, out of Southern Africa and present public training courses through our sister business, Niche Training, in the major centres in SA as well as in house courses around the country and in neighbouring countries.
Why social media? Because like the printing press we believe that it puts the power of communication into the hands of the individual. It allows businesses to market themselves and it facilitates the spreading of a good message to a receptive audience. If your product or service is good and your audience is your fan, then social media is the best tool to help you spread your vision. Individual tools may come and go, but the nature of sharing content this way is not soon going to be overshadowed. Businesses and organizations need to learn how to embrace the changes in order to get the best use out of the current technologies.
